The race will take place throughout the beautiful 70+ acres of Charlotte’s Historic Elmwood/Pinewood Cemetery. Join us for our 13th Annual Turkey Trot to break the cycle of poverty! Celebrate a healthy holiday and help us fight poverty for local families. All net proceeds support The Christian Mission, serving over 4,000+ local individuals in need with food, clothing, rent/utility financial assistance, case management, and educational programming. With 1,500 participants in 2023, this Sara’s YMCA signature event is one of the largest road races in the Ballantyne area.

Since its establishment, the Keep Pounding Fund has received over $4.5 million in charitable gifts, which exclusively benefit cancer programs at Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Atrium Health Levine Children's. By participating in the Keep Pounding 5K, you can impact the lives of patients diagnosed with cancer, while spreading awareness and contributing to vital cancer research programs. Proceeds from the Krueger Reindeer Romp benefit our YMCA Annual Campaign and help provide life-changing programs and services for kids and families who need us most. This is a fast and flat point to point 5k race that begins at Tega Cay Elementary School, proceeds in one lane down Gold Hill Road and finishes at Fort Mill Ford. There will be a shuttle to get you back to your car after the race or if you catch a ride with your family or friends, they can park at Fort Mill Ford.

The Meck Mile presented by Albemarle brings people together from all across Charlotte to run, walk, skip or dance their way through the streets surrounding Memorial Stadium. This race gives participants and spectators alike the chance to hit the streets and see the city we call home from an entirely new perspective. Swag bag, post-race food/drink, and children's activities will be available. We know there are many race options each weekend as we head into the Spring.

ALL types of participants take part in the day's events, from the veteran runner to the first timer, the elite to the "I just want to finish." Ballantyne raised over $100,000, providing hundreds of children the opportunity to participate in enriching, life-changing YMCA programs like preschool, after school, summer camp and sports. Held in the heart of South Park, the race begins at 8 am at Fairview Plaza office buildings. The 5k course takes runners through scenic South Park neighborhoods while the 1k Fun Run keeps runners close to Fairview Road.

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. The event includes a half marathon and a 5K race, both of which take place in the scenic Riverwalk neighborhoods of Rock Hill.
